Promo/Infomercial for 'The Variations'

I’ve always enjoyed making trailers, figuring them as a celebratory time of play after the main work has been done; they function as both announcement and invitation, and - most likely - will be viewed by way more folk than will see the finished piece.

So, having completed The Variations (2021)-a sequential series of four videos-I was keen to invite people into its world but aware that opportunities to see the 4 episode cycle may prove rare. Consequently, I made this standalone promotional piece which incorporates some of the visuals, but led by an all new soundtrack.

Running for a tenth of the length of The Variations, and with quite a density of imagery, I reckon it’s still a good option to watch first as it doesn’t really contain any spoilers i.e. it’s more The Variations (adjacent) than the thing itself.
